Lighting and formal reasons often require the use of recessed luminaires for which no suitable BS grid dimension is possible in the commercially available standard grid dimensions of ceiling systems.
However, installing these luminaires is made possible by creating a luminaire channel. The BS ceiling grid dimensions necessary for this are calculated as follows: BS = B + 5 mm
The luminaires are recessed in the channels and do not require any fixing. It is not necessary to adjust the luminaire length to the ceiling system.
Dimensions of the installation opening:
The installation dimensions are identical to the modular ceiling’s openings. The luminaire dimensions correspond to the ceiling tiles.
No fixing kit is necessary.
