Single & double offices

Task individual office

The luminaires in an office need to switch on simultaneously when somebody enters and they need to adjust fully automatically to the set light value depending on the availability of daylight. Once nobody is left in the room, the lighting switches off again automatically once a set period of time has elapsed.

This ensures that the lighting is always switched off once the occupant has left. In addition, manual intervention is made possible via a push-button by the door to the office. This push-button allows you to individually dim and brighten the lighting and to switch it on and off. The entire system with all its lighting and lighting control components needs to be configurable via a smartphone/tablet app.

APCON solution

Any luminaires designed in DALI are connected to the APCON CDH R165-FWS hybrid box via the two-pole DALI bus line and thus integrated into one Bluetooth low energy radio address. The hybrid box can either be mounted on the ceiling or placed out of sight. The APCON BLE-SEN5-SC motion and daylight sensor is designed for in-ceiling installation (a ceiling-mounted version is also available) and controls the luminaires connected to the hybrid box. The APCON BLE-COP-A push-button coupler is installed behind the standard push-button within the installation socket and allows the luminaires to be individually switched on and off as well as dimmed.

The APCON BLE lighting control components are connected to each other via radio / Bluetooth Low Energy. There is no need for a bus line. Configuration is convenient via the free Casambi smartphone / tablet app. The lighting can also be controlled via a customisable user interface. The sensor can be set to motion detection and / or daylight-dependent control as required. If the office has more than one access door, several push-button couplers can be integrated.

Task double office

The lighting of the office is divided equally between the two workspaces, is set to switch on once somebody enters the respective area, and is controlled fully automatically depending on the level of daylight. Once everybody has left the area and once an adjustable period of time has elapsed, the lighting is set to switch off again independently. This ensures that the lighting is always switched off at the end of the working day.

In addition, manual intervention is made possible via a push-button by the door to the office. This push-button allows you to individually dim and brighten the lighting and to switch it on and off independently in either area. The entire system with all its lighting and lighting control components needs to be configurable via a smartphone / tablet app.

APCON solution

All the luminaires are configured in DALI and are connected to the relevant APCON CDH R165-FWS hybrid box in the respective area via the two-pole DALI bus line and thus integrated into two Bluetooth Low Energy radio addresses. The two DALI circuits are not connected to each other. The hybrid boxes can either be mounted on the ceiling or placed out of sight. The APCON BLE-SEN5-SC motion and daylight sensors are designed for in-ceiling installation and control the luminaires connected to the respective hybrid box. Via the self-powered double push-button APCON BLE-2SWITCH (no power supply required), the lighting can be switched on and off and dimmed or brightened individually for both work areas. The faceplate with the double push-button can be switched for a faceplate from other common ranges.

The APCON BLE lighting control components are connected to each other via radio / Bluetooth Low Energy. There is no need for a bus line. Configuring and assigning the sensor, push-button, and hybrid box is convenient via the free Casambi smartphone / tablet app. The lighting can also be controlled via a customisable user interface. The sensors can be set to motion detection and / or daylight-dependent control as required. If the office has more than one access door, several push-buttons can be integrated.
