The lighting in side rooms like, e.g., the office kitchens, copying, and group or first-aid rooms needs to controlled via a switch by the entrance door that allows it to be switched on and off as well as dimmed and brightened individually. The entire system with all its lighting and lighting control components needs to be configurable via a smartphone / tablet app.

All the luminaires are designed in DALI and connected to the APCON CDH R165-FWS hybrid box via the two-pole DALI bus line and thus integrated into one Bluetooth Low Energy radio address. The hybrid box can either be mounted on the ceiling or placed out of sight. The APCON BLE-SWITCH1 push-button can be used to switch the luminaires that are grouped together in the hybrid box on and off and to dim and brighten them. Since it is self-powered (no battery / power supply), it can be mounted directly on the wall without an electrical connection. The configuration of the hybrid box or the connected luminaires as well as the push-button is conveniently done via the free Casambi smartphone / tablet app. Both APCON components are connected to each other via radio / Bluetooth Low Energy. There is no need for a bus line between them.
