We have been pioneers in the continuous-row lighting sector since 1987 and have constantly optimised our concept over the years. In 2024, we took continuous row lighting technology to a new level with RIDI LINIA EVO. Our headquarters in Jungingen, at the foot of the Swabian Alb, is not only the origin of our lighting innovations, but also a guarantee of the highest quality – Made in Jungingen. Our new RIDI LINIA EVO continuous-row lighting system not only offers a sustainable lighting solution, but is also characterised by quick installation, easy retrofitting and being a well thought-out system. As a pioneering trailblazer, we are ideally equipped to offer our customers advanced lighting solutions for a bright future.
VL2TM – THE NEW TRUNKING SYSTEM
The new development of trunking and busbar technology is an essential element in the RIDI LINIA EVO continuous-row lighting system. This innovation sets new standards for quality and efficiency in the field of continuous-row lighting production and offers numerous advantages. The trunking and gear tray are manufactured entirely on site in Jungingen, supported by two ultra-modern, fully automated production systems.
COMPACT INSTALLATION SPACE
The new trunking offers the same function in a smaller installation space. All variants have a cable cross-section of 2.5 mm² as standard and are therefore ideally equipped for the future.
SIMPLE NETWORKING
A modern solution for reliable and simple networking – the double chamber enables the insertion of one power cable (5- or 7-pole) or two power cables (13- or 14-pole).
HIGH FLEXIBILITY
RIDI LINIA EVO offers flexible design options for trunking, gear trays and modules.
QUICK INSTALLATION
The new maximum suspension distance of 5 metres enables faster installation with less material.
DUO CONNECT – THE NEW TRUNKING CONNECTOR
The new DUO CONNECT trunking connector combines two functions by incorporating the mechanical and electrical connector in one component. This practical solution significantly reduces installation effort, saves time during preparation and enables effortless assembly. An advanced approach that combines efficiency and user-friendliness in one product.
EFFORTLESS INSTALLATION
With the new connector design, the electrical connector can be easily installed with just two fingers. The standard gear trays can also be installed collision-free at the joints.
INTERNAL SEAL
With protection class IP54, the seal is pre-attached to the DUO CONNECT trunking connector. It is located on the inside, offers optimum protection and is only discreetly visible from the outside.
VL2 – THE NEW GEAR TRAYS
The gear trays have undergone a comprehensive efficiency update, achieving an impressive up to 203 lm / W thanks to the perfect interplay of optics and LED. Versatile gear trays offer optimum glare control with a UGR value of ≤19. The complete package is suitable for various applications and sets new standards in efficiency.

UPGRADE KIT
Use the Upgrade KIT from RIDI to upgrade to VL2MF modules such as emergency lighting, smart air purification and escape signs in individual cases. These can be included individually without having to replace the entire trunking system. (Convertible with 5-pin or 7-pin).
SUSTAINABILITY
The trunking packaging is made more environmentally friendly through the use of bioplastics. The innovative packaging technology makes it possible to reduce the packaging material by more than 80 % without compromising transport protection. This helps to reduce CO2 emissions by more than 80 % overall and has a positive impact on customers and the environment.
